Test Automation Made Easy

Run tests on multiple platforms without complex coding.

Want to run those tests? tame produces an easy-to-follow protocol for manual testing. But even better—by filling out a second table, you can get Selenium automated tests that run on most browsers, many devices, and any sizes. And you get all of this without complex coding. That’s Test Automation Made Easy

1. Add a Run tab to the workbook

Get started automating by adding a Run tab to the workbook. tame creates places for you to add automation instructions for each of the inputs, events, and checks.

2. Get the instructions by recording a few tests in Selenium IDE

For Web UI automation, use the same instructions as Selenium IDE. Record a few tests in order to get the instructions and selector expressions.

Bonus! You can run the Selenium IDE tests on any browser using the TAME Runner.
Watch the Selenium IDE tests run in TAME Runner

3. Copy the instructions for each action

The tame Runner can import and run Selenium IDE .side files directly.

(By the way, you can use the TAME Runner to run Selenium IDE tests on any Selenium-supported browser. You're not limited to just Chrome and Firefox.)

Find the instructions for each action and copy those instructions into the Run tab.

4. Add instructions specific to particular browsers or sizes

With tame, you don't have to go to code just because you need different instructions for different run configurations. Just identify instructions that are specific to particular browsers and sizes.

5. Run the tests

Select all tests or make a custom playlist. Choose your platforms—browsers and sizes— then sit back and watch the tests run.

6. View the results

Run the tests and get a log showing how each test passes or fails. Timings and screen snapshots are included in the logs by defalt.

7. Upload the results to share them with your team

Subscribe to tame and create workspaces where you can share tests and results with your entire team. See your current test progress at a glance.
